Benefits.

Enelift® offers a range of integrated lifting solutions for the energy sector. Our highly trained operators ensure that any customer requirements are supported with the best service levels in the sector.

We can provide a full training and competence programme, on site or remotely, using our unique communications technology

Our proprietary systems, including Hinge Lok®, can be used with both conventional pipe handling and mechanised pipe handling systems. The specially designed removable pipe separators allow these premier systems to be used for various sizes of pipe and assemblies, eliminating the need for the customer to stock numerous sizes and variations.

One of the main functions of the Hinge Lok® is to dramatically reduce both on and offshore manual handling. Pipe, tally, drifting and centralizer installation can be carried out onshore and loaded into the Hinge Lok® in running order prior to being shipped offshore.

Health & Safety

(1) Eliminates the need for unloading at the rig site and the unsafe task of handling and rolling of tubulars by rig personnel.

(2) Systems can be stacked neatly, preventing any damage to slings as opposed to when conventionally stacked in bundles on the vessel.

(3) The total number of lifts using Hinge-Lok® frames compared to bundling and slinging can be reduced by >50%.

(4) There are no requirement for the unsafe task of rig crews laying out the tubing on the pipe deck as tubulars can be transported directly from the Hinge-Lok® frames to the rig floor.

(5) The risks of slips, trips and other injuries are reduced.

Environmental

(1) Systems are manufactured using Restore low carbon aluminium which is more than 2 times lower than the European primary industry standard.

(2) Material is verified by DNV GL according to ISO 14064 (Manufacturer – Hydro of Norway).

(3) Over 95% of the systems are recyclable and made using renewable energy and modern technology (highly efficient).* No wastage, all systems reused in their entirety. Each system is full aluminium light weight.

(4) Carbon footprint is further reduced by not having to transport oversized baskets, reduced requirement for deck space both on the supply boat and platform, as well as highly significant reductions in onshore trucking.

(5) Eliminate the “one time use” of ALL slings, tie-wraps and clips used for traditional pipe bundling.

Operations

(1) Faster loading time when using Hinge-Lok® system (Typically 5-7 mins to load 15 x 5 ½”).

(2) Loading of tubulars in to the Hinge-Lok® systems can be performed by a forklift, eliminating the need for expensive craneage.

(3) Tubulars can be loaded in running order, drifted, tallied and doped prior to loading, thus reducing rig time. Eliminates the need for unloading at the rig site and the unsafe task of handling and rolling of tubulars by rig personnel.

(4) Reduced loads to be lifted between vessel and installation, decreasing overall time and associated crane lifts.

(5) Can be used for downhole tools, eliminating the use of oversized cargo baskets.

Commercial.

(1) No wastage, complete re-use of all components.

(2) Time taken to load tubulars into the Hinge-Lok® systems and from vessel to installation is greatly reduced.

(3) No expensive craneage needed onshore during loading of tubulars.

(4) No repeat cost of slings, tie-wraps and clips.

(5) Reduced personnel requirements compared with traditional method for these operations.
