YARD. TRANSPORT. OFFSHORE.

One system. Endless capabilities.

Hinge-Lok® and the Integral Sling System® are versatile, offering an all-in-one solution for every stage of the tubular handling lifecycle.

One frame, the whole lifecycle: yard forklift to truck, supply vessel, rig crane and rig deck. FORKLIFT TRANSPORT SUPPLY VESSEL RIG CRANE RIG DECK

01 — STORAGE YARDS

Hinge-Lok® is built from lightweight components, each under 15 kg, held together by just four integrated captive Nord-Lock® nuts, so it's simple to assemble and one person can handle it safely. Tubulars are loaded by forklift in the yard, with no crane needed onshore. A typical set of 15 × 5½″ is loaded in just 5 to 7 minutes.

Once loaded, the tubulars sit locked securely inside the system, with no loose components. The frames also stack densely, so you can store more pipe in less space, keeping the yard organised, the tubulars protected and the working area safer for personnel on site.

02 — TRANSPORT

Designed to move by truck, rail and supply vessel as one complete unit.

For onward transport, each loaded system travels as a single secured unit, straight onto a truck or rail wagon, with the tubulars fixed in place. There's no need to re-sling or rehandle anything, so loading is efficient and controlled.

The frames are light, too, up to 65% lighter than a steel equivalent, which means more payload margin, lower fuel use and faster crane cycles. They stack securely and lock together so you carry more pipe per load, and being fully reusable, they remove single-use slings, ties and clips. At the quayside, the whole unit lifts cleanly on and off the supply vessel.

03 — OFFSHORE

With the tubulars locked inside the frame and the captive Nord-Lock® nuts tightened, there is reduced potential for dropped objects on the supply vessel and the rig. Each frame is craned across in a single controlled lift, straight to the rig floor and ready to run, and stacks securely on deck to free up space.

Without the Hinge-Lok® system in place, lifting and loading is where incidents happen. Enelift's business case shows up to a 50% reduction in time, space and handling offshore, and up to 50% reduced cost per lift when compared to conventional bundling.
